This will prepare the hair to come out with ease. Please note that this excludes facial hair. We also suggest avoiding any lotions or oils on the day of your appointment as they can interfere with the wax adhering to your hair. Lastly, if you are prone to sensitivity, taking an over-the-counter pain reliever such as ibuprofen 30 minutes prior to your appointment may help alleviate any discomfort.

At The Wax Idol Lounge, we use a combination of hard, soft, and sugar waxes. Our experienced estheticians will assess the texture of your hair, skin, and any sensitivities you may have to determine the best type of wax to use for your specific needs. Rest assured that we only use high-quality waxes to ensure a comfortable and effective waxing experience. If you have any concerns or questions about the type of wax we use, feel free to ask your esthetician during your appointment.

At The Wax Idol Lounge, we recommend that you have at least 3 weeks of hair growth before your appointment. This will ensure that we have enough hair to work with and can provide you with a clean and thorough waxing experience. The hair should be at least the length of a rice grain to ensure the best results. If you have any questions or concerns about your hair length, please don't hesitate to contact us. Our experienced staff is always happy to assist you with any questions or concerns you may have.

We suggest you wear comfy, loose free flowing clothing to your appointment. Avoid tight clothing that may irritate your freshly waxed skin. Additionally, we recommend avoiding any activities that may cause excessive sweating or friction in the waxed area for at least 24 hours after your appointment.

At The Wax Idol Lounge, we take the safety and wellbeing of our clients very seriously. One of the ways we ensure that our clients are always protected is by never double dipping. Double dipping is the practice of reusing the same wax applicator multiple times, which can lead to the wax becoming contaminated with bacteria and other harmful microorganisms. We believe that this is a major health hazard and, as such, we have a strict policy against it. All of our wax applicators are disposable, so we use a new one for each client, and we always make sure to use high-quality, medical-grade wax that is safe and gentle on the skin. In this way, we can guarantee that our clients always receive the highest level of care and protection when they come to our salon.

At The Wax Idol Lounge, we require a 100% refundable retainer fee for booking any of our services. This fee is necessary to secure your appointment and ensure that we can provide you with the best possible service. The retainer fee will be credited towards the cost of your service and is fully refundable if you need to cancel your appointment with at least 48 hours' notice.
